A challenge in the kitchen with a homegrown product embellished with a unique taste: radicchio.

A show-cooking in love between great personalities of the territory and of international caliber with a single theme: the radicchio of Verona.

The Consortium of Radicchio di Verona IGP will be the protagonist during the days of Verona in Love, proposing four initiatives, one for each day.

Battling with spoon and fork two teams ready to make the kitchen an authentic show!

Calendar of events:

Saturday 11th
- Two challengers, two chefs, two cities, one love - from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
A "challenge" in history and flavor. Verona and Treviso return to "face one each other". Competing for Verona Mayor Flavio Tosi and Senator Patrizia Bisinella for Treviso: a challenge "in family" for the preparation of the best risotto with radicchio. Their star chefs side will help in the work, and a jury of excellence will judge their works. Leading the event will be journalist and TV host Stefano Cantiero .

Sunday 12th
- Showcooking in Love - from 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Andrea Cesaro will present the radicchio in three courses. Fantasy and poetry meet, while ingredients and spices flow between the skilled fingers of the chef.
- Love in the kitchen ... - from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The well-known entrepreneur Giovanni Rana and radio presenter and journalist Valeria Benatti will offer an alternative point of view of food and territory. Acting as moderator Stefano Cantiero .

Monday 13th
- Radicchio di Verona IGP contest: Pizza & Finger Food - from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
A day dedicated to a new conception of food. Eating healthy while having fun and taste, this is the theme of this contest. Guests will be Alessio Beozzi , President of Ista (company operating in catering worldwide, offering Italian cuisine), Micael Cortelletti of the restaurant "Impero", Christian Filippi and Serena Ricciuti , respectively, Italian champion and European champion of Kendo.

Tuesday 14th
- Showcooking in Love - from 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Chef Alessandro Tannoia will speak about his cooking and his interpretations of radicchio, in order to improve the organoleptic qualities.
- Put love on the table - from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Matteo Bussola and Paola Barbato , companions in life, will discuss their daily love days, unique inspirations for the book "Notti in bianco, baci a colazione".

Save the date: Every day of the event from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. and also Sunday 12 and Tuesday 14 from 1.00 p.m. to 2 p.m., in Loggia in Love.
